Hyosang Kim Managing Partner & CEO
Hyosang is the Co-Founder and CEO of Krossroad Partners, a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee, and the Board Chair.
Krossroad is spearheaded by Hyosang’s strategy and directions as he leads through each stage of the investment.
Hyosang has 18 years of experience across various sectors of investment.
Prior to Krossroad, he was the Co-founder and Co-CEO of HES Capital Partners, a multi-sector growth capital firm spanning various industries including consumer materials, aerospace, technology, and software solutions. He led successful investments amounting to USD 130 million during his time at HES, along with a rich track record of exits for his investors via IPO and M&A.
His career started at Samsung Securities and has built his experience around investment banking and global equity sales, where he led major M&A and IPO projects.
Woosok Lee Partner & COO
Woosok is the Co-Founder and partner at Krossroad Partners. He is also a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee and the Board.
Along with being one of the influential voices of investment and funding for the Firm, Woosok oversees implementations of the Firm’s long-term strategy.
Woosok has over 14 years of experience as an investment advisor and strategic investor. Before Krossroad, Woosok was in Corporate Strategy at Dong-A Socio Group, one of the leading healthcare groups in Korea. His main focus was identifying, reviewing and executing investment opportunities as well as implementing post-merger integration plans. Woosok started his career at KPMG as an M&A advisor, where he provided investment advisories to Korean conglomerates and multinational clients.
Youngsoo Ha Partner
Youngsoo is an Executive Director and Partner at Krossroad Partners. He is a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee and is a Board Member.
Youngsoo has over 12 years of investment experience, originating investment opportunities and providing key insights in portfolio management.
Prior to joining Krossroad, Youngsoo was with Q Capital Partners and Ubiquoss Investment, where he sourced, executed and exited numerous investments in high value industries.
He also spent his career at National Pension Service Investment Management (Korea) as a private equity portfolio manager. He started his career in M&A Advisory at PwC Korea.
Youngmin Bang Auditor
Youngmin is a auditor of Krossroad Partners. He has held various leadership roles at the financial subsidiaries of Samsung Group including head of the IB Division at Samsung Securities, where he completed countless deals in domestic and overseas. Prior to work as an investment banker at Samsung Securities, he started his professional career at the Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) where he planned and reviewed financial policies. He also held roles at the Office of the President (Republic of Korea) as the Executive Official in Economic Affairs and later Chief of Planning and Coordination Division at MOFE's Economic Communications Planning Group. Youngmin earned his Ph.D. of Economics at Vanderbilt University. He is currently the CEO and president of A PANDA Partners, a crypto technology development company based in Seoul, Korea.
Hoseok Jung Legal Counsel
Hoseok is Krossroad Partners' legal counsel, overseeing the legal and compliance issues of the Firm and its portfolio companies, along with being the advisor on investment approaches based on his extensive network within the venture community.
He is also practicing at Seum Law as co-founder and managing partner. At Seum, his practice focuses on corporate law, capital financing, M&A and securities, representing both public and private companies in various sectors including software, hardware, IT, blockchain/cryptocurrency, startup incubation and fintech. Hoseok is a leading legal advisor in respect to startup/high-growth companies and private equity/venture capital funds within Korea. Hoseok also spent many years at one of Korea’s leading law firms, where he represented and advised Korean and multinational corporations.
Junha Park Team Manager
Junha is a team manager at Krossroad Partners. He has built deep industrial insight on ICT services, artificial intelligence with enterprise software, and blockchain.
Prior to Krossroad, he gained experience at Kingsley Ventures investing in the early stages with follow-up management finding product market fit.
Junha served as an investment banker for the first career at JP Morgan Japan, where he gathered business requirements and provided financial valuations including optimizing the target price of potential candidates.
After that, he joined financial advisor for Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC Japan. He took a leading role to support M&A processes including business due diligence and financial structuring from pre-m&a to post-merger integration.
Minkyung Jung Team Manager
Minkyung is a team manager at Krossroad Partners. Her industry focus includes consumer tech, retail and commerce infrastructure, enterprise software, and blockchain.
Minkyung started her career with Fast Ventures, an early stage venture fund and company builder, investing in seed stage consumer tech companies. Prior to joining Krossroad Partners in 2022, Minkyung was with SB Partners, investing in both early and growth stage companies, where she invested in consumer and blockchain technologies.
Hyobeen Kim Manager & Compliance Officer
Hyobeen joined Krossroad in 2021 following her internship at Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation.
She plays a key role in the execution of investment deals and portfolio management with her multifaceted skillsets.
Hyobeen graduated Summa Cumme Laude at Sookmyung Women's University and received her bachelor's degree in public administration and environmental studies.
Sanghun Lee Analyst
Sanghun joined Krossroad in 2022 after completing his internship at consulting as well as investment firms both in Korea and U.S.
Sanghun has a genuine interest in the IT and related tech industry.
Junyoung Song Analyst
Junyoung joined Krossroad in 2022 after completing his military service in the Presidential Security Service. His professional experience includes due diligence at Deloitte and project financing at eBest Securities.
